发明苎麻专行滞血，产妇枕之治血晕。产后腹痛，以苎安腹上即止。渍苎水疗热渴，苎根治小儿赤丹。其黄麻苦温，专散陈久瘀血，取陈年者烧灰存性，酒调服之。络麻根烧灰治锁喉风神效。
