小儿生长发育障碍发生畸形的一种疾患。多由于先天不足，后天失调，肾气虚，不能充养骨髓、督脉致脊骨痿弱，逐渐变成畸形。其症状为脊骨弯曲隆起，状如龟背，故名。是佝偻病的症状之一。
