脉滑而手足温者生，脉涩而手足寒者死。气为火所郁，而为痰在肺胃也。有痰者，有火炎者，有阴虚者，凡喘未发时，以补正气为主；已发时，以攻邪为主。痰喘者，喘则便有痰声。声喘者，呼吸急促，而无痰声。有胃气虚而喘者，抬肩撷项，喘而不休。火喘者，乍进乍退，得食则减，食已则喘。
