《喉舌备要秘旨》乘颚症·

此症发于上颚，红肿者多，起白膜黄膜者少，有核用针，无核不刺。骤发者易治，缓发者难愈。针刺痛有血者可治，刺而不痛无血者不治。此是心经发来即伤五内之症。治法用连翘消毒饮，加秦艽、防风、荆芥。
